§ Dr. MawhinneyExpenditure on drugs by the family health services in England amounted to £1,942 million in 1989–90, £2,080 million in 1990–91 and £2,317 million in 1991–92. The latest estimate for 1992–93 is £2,584 million. Information on the proportion of expenditure spent on patients in particular age groups is not available centrally.
