§ Mr. BaldryThe council tenants charter has been available in five ethnic languages since 24 November. They are Bengali, Greek, Hindi, Urdu and Vietnamese. Copies of the new translations are being sent to all local authorities in England, community groups, advice organisations and individual tenants who used the reply slip on the English language introductory leaflet to obtain an ethnic language version. For those who understand only spoken English, the council tenants charter is also available on audio-cassette.
