Mr. Blunkett

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will give for each of the last five years for England and for each national health service region(a) the total number of whole-time equivalent nurses and midwives employed in the hospital and community health services on 30 September and (b) the total number of agency nurses and midwives working in the hospital and community health services on 30 September.
