§ Mr. Lennox-Boyd[holding answer 3 December 1992]: We have been actively involved in United Nations Security Council discussions on the situation in Angola. On 30 November, the council adopted Security Council resolution 793 which extended until 31 January 1993 the role of the United Nations Angolan verification mission, 568W and called on the parties in Angola to observe the ceasefire and create all the conditions necessary for the completion of the peace process.
