§ Mr. Peter LloydAccording to the records held centrally, which are approximate, no offenders under 17 detained under section 53 of the Children and Young People Act 1933 were held in adult prisons in England and Wales on 31 August 1992, the latest date for which information is available. However, six such detainees were being held in remand centres.
