§ Mr. Archie HamiltonDefence expenditure figures in outturn and constant prices, and adjusted to include the technical changes outlined in paragraphs 2B-7 to 2B-12 of the "Autumn Statement", are not available for the period 1974–75 to 1977–78 and could be provided only at disproportionate cost. Adjusted outturn figures for 1978–79 to 1986–87 will be published in the "Statistical Supplement to the Autumn Statement" early in 1993.
