§ Mr. Needham[holding answer 2 December 1992]: Information on the EC shares of the United Kingdom domestic market cannot be provided without disproportionate cost. The EC accounted for 52 per cent. of visible 449W imports into the United Kingdom in 1990–91 and in 1991–92. The EC share of United Kingdom imports of manufactures was 55 per cent. in 1990–91 and 54 per cent. in 1991–92.
