To ask the President of the Board of Trade what requests the United Kingdom Government have received from the Government of Brazil for assistance in helping to control illegal harvesting of mahogany in the states of Rondonia and Para.

Mr. Needham

I am not aware of any requests from the Government of Brazil for assistance in controlling illegal harvesting of mahogany.
