§ Mr. Frank FieldTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what criteria or performance indicators will be taken into account, apart from measuring each authority's performance against the strategic objectives and outputs specified in the action plans, for the purposes of the city challenge scheme in considering which pacemaker authorities should receive more or less than the average sum originally promised per pacemaker authority.
§ Mr. Robin SquireThe 11 city challenge pacemakers will each receive £37.5 million over five years, subject only to an annual review of progress toward achieving the strategic objectives and outputs specified in their action plans.
