HL Deb 03 December 1992 vol 540 c98WA
Earl Russell

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What is their explanation of the error in the schools' league tables which showed Parliament Hill School obtaining no A-level passes, and whether they propose to compensate the school for the injury done to its reputation.

The Minister of State, Department of Education (Baroness Blatch)

The Department for Education and the contractors responsible for compiling the 1992 tables of school examination results have looked into the case of the Parliament Hill School. They found that, whilst the school had returned some amendments to the information sent to it for checking, none relating to A-level results had been received.
