§ Mr. JackAll the people mentioned in paragraph 7 of the memorandum issued by my right hon. and learned Friend to accompany his statement on 1 October about his review of the case of the late Derek Bentley had the opportunity to submit further material about the case at any time; two persons involved in the preparation of the Thames TV programmes were interviewed by a senior officer in the Metropolitan police in the course of inquiries carried out at the request of my Department.
