§ Mr. MacleanThe most recent information, relating to 1990, is contained in this year's "Digest of Environmental Protection and Water Statistics", and in my Department's recent report "The UK Environment", copies of which are in the House Library. Overall in 1990, 92 per cent. of sewage treatment works complied with their consent conditions, compared with 77 per cent. in 1986 and 83 per cent. in 1988.
