Lady Chalker has asked me to reply to your Parliamentary Question about my visit to Wageningen last May.The visit was combined with one to Amsterdam in connection with NRI's participation in the European Consortium for Agricultural Research in the Tropics. The additional costs associated with the visit to the Centre for Tropical Agriculture in Wageningen were £113.97.In my letter to you of 28 October I gave the date of my visit to Wageningen as 8 May. This should have read 13 May, an error for which I apologise.
