§ Mr. HanleyIn the financial year 1992–93, just under 33 per cent. of the Department of Education's higher education budget is being spent on supporting research activities in the university sector in Northern Ireland. For subsequent years planned totals are not yet available as the methodology by which research funding will be determined is currently under consideration.
