§ Mr. David HuntThe average council tax for a band C property set by local authorities in Wales for 1993–94 is £292. This is before account is taken of exemptions and discount under the new system. Around two-thirds of properties in Wales are within band C and the lower valuation bands A and B. Details of the band C council tax set by each county and district council in Wales are in the following table:
