§ Mr. HardyTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will request the Wath Recycling Company to send the consignment of toxic waste which it has held for almost two and a half years to the same company which has dealt with that part of the consignment which was held by British Rail.
§ Mr. BaldryAs the hon. Member knows, we have been actively seeking an appropriate solution to this problem for two years and this has included requests to Wath Recycling to consider disposal methods such as that used by British Rail. However the fate of the waste at Wath now appears to depend firmly upon the outcome of current court action in the United States.
