HC Deb 22 October 1991 vol 196 c470W
Mr. Fearn

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what consultations he has had with London Transport regarding the proportion of visitors using the underground and buses.

Mr. Freeman

Sample surveys carried out by the London tourist board suggest that the majority of visitors to London make some use of bus and underground services. I refer the hon. Member to my hon. Friend's answer of 11 January 1989,Official Report, columns 699–700. The matter has not been the subject of any recent consultation between London Transport and this Department.
