§ Mr. Michael ForsythSuch estimates are not prepared routinely. Those following have been obtained by dividing mid-1990 local government area populations amongst constituencies in proportion to the corresponding split of parliamentary electorates recorded on the 1991 register (qualifying date 10 October 1990). Some very small proportions have been ignored. I understand that the Registrar General intends to prepare new estimates when the relevant 1991 census statistics are available.
