§ Mr. BaldryThe IAEA-sponsored conference discussed the Swedish proposal and concluded that the IAEA should develop international safety objectives for use by participating member states with regard to the implementation of waste management and disposal. My officials will be working with the IAEA to help develop such objectives, and to discuss the content of a possible convention.
