§ Mr. Peter LloydI understand from the chief constable of Hampshire that the amalgamation of the two Isle of Wight sub-divisions under the command of a superintendent was made to improve management of the force, and is not expected to provide financial savings. The level of policing on the Isle of Wight will remain unchanged.
