To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what is the latest annual figure for the cost of hospitality provided by the Department of Trade and Industry; and if he will make a statement.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave to the hon. Member for Don Valley (Mr. Redmond) on 17 June 1991 at column 39, which gave the costs of hospitality in 1989–90. Expenditure in 1991–92 is not expected to be significantly different.
