To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what assessment he has made of the implications for his policy of the proposals put forward by the EC Energy Commissioner in Berlin on 24 September on development of an internal market in fuel and energy supplies.

§ Mr. Wakeham
The Government support the objectives of the Commissioner's proposals for the development of an internal energy market.
