§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe recent Franco-German proposals follow the Anglo-Italian declaration as a contribution to the European security and defence debate currently underway in the political union intergovernmental conference, in NATO, and in the Western European Union. The Government will engage in discussion of these in the relevant multilateral fora.
