HC Deb 22 October 1991 vol 196 c546W
Miss Hoey

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what specialist provision exists in Northern Ireland to offer contraceptive advice and counselling to young people; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Hanley

Young people can at present use the family planning services available from health and social services board clinics and general medical practitioners. The Eastern board also plans to arrange for the provision, through the Brook Advisory Centre, of an additional service geared to meeting the particular needs of people under 25 years.
