To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, further to his answer to the hon. Member for Torridge and Devon, West (Miss Nicholson) on 16 October,Official Report, column 153, how many pig premises under movement restrictions as a result of suspicion or confirmation of blue ear disease have since had restrictions lifted.

Mr. Maclean

Twenty five premises have been free of clinical symptoms for eight weeks or longer and have therefore been released from movement restrictions.
