Mr. JacksonAge discrimination against job applicants is short-sighted and wasteful. My colleagues and I are taking every opportunity to emphasise that employers should make more effective use of the valuable qualities of skill, experience and reliability that older people can bring to a job. We shall continue to promote good practice in the recruitment and employment of older workers.
