§ Mr. JackThe Foreign and Commonwealth Office is co-ordinating an exercise among all interested Whitehall Departments in order to prepare the United Kingdom's progress report on action in the areas targeted by the World Summit for Children's declaration and plan for action. The aim is to submit this to the UNICEF secretariat by the end of this year. The Department is liaising closely with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on the preparation of the report.
