§ Mr. Peter LloydThe enforcement of vehicle excise duty offences is an operational matter for individual chief officers of police. I understand that police officers and traffic wardens regularly report vehicle excise offences to local vehicle licensing officers for enforcement action and support enforcement campaigns run by DVLA the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency.
