§ Mr. CurryWe have carefully considered the rate of premium to apply in 1991–92, in the light of the continuing high cost of support for the beef industry, and the continuing rise in the size of the suckler herd. Matters are now complicated by a Commission proposal to amend the maximum rates of premium payable, which, if adopted, will oblige us to reconsider the issue.
