§ Mr. CohenTo ask the Secretary of State for Health what recommendations about tackling racial inequality in nursing have been made by the pay review body in the health service; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe function of the review body is to advise my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister on the levels of remuneration for nursing staff, midwives and health visitors in the NHS. The review body has made no recommendations concerning race in any of its eight reports.
