ADAS.

2 Excludes 663.5 staff now in the Central Veterinary La boratory and Veterinary Medicines Directorate Executive Agencies.

3 These figures cover all Information Division staff, including librarians and translators because the staff-in-post records for 1980 do not distinguish between staffdealing with press and public relations matters and other Information Division staff. Of the 83 staff in Information Division in 1990, 23 were engaged on publicity related work.

Total MAFF staff in post were 13,758 in 1980 and 9,848 in 1990.
