To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many council houses and flats have been sold in Wales since 1979 under the right-to-buy provisions and on a voluntary basis.

There have been about 91,500 local authority sales between 1979 and June 1991. Just over 85,000 were under the right to buy and the remainder were voluntary sales.
