§ Mr. Flynn
To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether any scientists from his Department are members of the technical sub-committee on water analysis (CEN/TC230) of the European Committee for Standardisation.

§ Mr. Baldry
The Department has not attended meetings of the Technical Committee on Water Analysis (CEN/TC230) but participates in its work through the appropriate committee of the British Standards Institution.
