§ Mr. FlynnTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations were made by Her Majesty's Government at the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York to Ministers or diplomats from North Korea in regard to the refusal of the Government of North Korea to conclude their mandatory nuclear safeguards agreement within the requisite time period.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe have not raised the question of the North Korean representatives at the current session of the United Nations General Assembly so far. However, we take every appropriate opportunity in New York and elsewhere to remind the North Koreans of the importance we attach to the effective implementation of their safeguards agreement.
