HC Deb 18 October 1991 vol 196 c287W
Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what progress has been made on examination of evidence presented to him concerning the safety of the conviction of those men accused of the murder of Carl Bridgewater; when he expects to make a decision; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. John Patten

The representations made on behalf of the convicted men are under consideration. A decision whether the representations call for further inquiries or other action will be made as soon as possible.
