§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe recent experts' meeting in London discussed arms transfers and non-proliferation, in particular the development of agreed guidelines governing conventional arms transfers and the development of modalities of a consultation and information exchange mechanism on arms transfers to, as a matter of priority, the middle east. Senior officials are meeting again in London on 17 and 18 October to continue this process.
