§ Sir Wyn RobertsI announced last month the results of the Department's survey of teacher vacancies. The survey at the start of the new academic year showed that out of a total of 24,500 teaching posts, 40 remained unfilled, representing 0.2 per cent. of full-time teaching posts in Wales.
