§ Mr. Michael ForsythA code of practice outlining the principles to be followed in maintaining the confidentiality of health records was issued to health boards last year and has been placed in the House of Commons Library. Boards were asked to give a copy of the code to each member of staff and to those contracted to the board. The effectiveness of the code will be kept under review.
