§ Mr. Peter LloydThe size of the area used for detention at terminal 4 at Heathrow airport is 157.5 sq m. The facilities currently available include 12 beds, four toilets, four wash basins, and one telephone. There are no showers or baths. All people detained overnight at Heathrow terminal 4 are, however, taken to the immigration service detention centre, Harmondsworth the next morning where they have access to showers.
