To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for The Wrekin of 15 July,Official Report, column 98, if he will list those Ministry of Defence depots which have lost their rail connection since 1985.

Since 1985 rail connections to the following Ministry of Defence depots have been closed: Regional Depot Aldershot; Ordnance Support Unit Ashford; OSU Burscough; Royal Air Force Carlisle; Central Ordnance Depot Donnington; Royal Naval Stores Depot Eaglescliffe; RD Hereford; OSU Hessay; RAF Quedgeley; Procurement and Experimental Establishment Shoeburyness; RAF Stafford; RD Stirling; RD Thatcham; RD Thursk; RD Warcop; OSU Warminster and RD Wool.
