To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what proposals he has for Welsh urban areas to be eligible for resources from the city challenge budget allocation.

None. The 1992 competition for city challenge resources will be open only to the 57 urban programme authorities in England. Urban regeneration initiatives in Wales are the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales.
