§ Mrs. RumboldMy right hon. Friend has asked the Animal Procedures Committee to consider whether cephalopods should be covered by the controls of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986. I understand that the committee will shortly be considering the issue and we look forward to receiving its advice in due course.
