§ Mr. MartlewTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what assessment he has made of the effect on the Scottish salmon industry of the recent trade agreement between the EC and EFTA countries.
§ Mr. CurryThe agreement establishing the European economic area from 1 January 1993 makes no change to tariff levels for salmon. The contracting parties are committed to taking action to ensure there is no distortion of competition.
