HL Deb 28 November 1991 vol 532 c92WA
The Earl of Shrewsbury

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will make extra credit approvals available to local authorities in the Black Country so they can bring forward projects to take up ERDF grants.

Baroness Blatch

The Black Country authorities have benefited from supplementary credit approvals in the past and may well do so, from an increased national amount made available to cover ERDF projects, again in the current financial year. I have asked my officials to bear the Black Country position in mind when reviewing the arrangements for distributing SCA's for 1992/93.
