§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyImplementation of Project 2000 began in 1989. By the end of the current financial year, nearly 60 per cent. of the colleges and schools of nursing in England will have received approval to run Project 2000 and £109 million will have been made available centrally towards the cost of implementation. Our aim is to complete implementation as soon as possible; the precise completion date will depend on the funding which can be made available given other competing priorities.
