However, the NHS is continually expanding the provision of innovative services for patients and the introduction of lasers, endoscopes, new forms of anaesthetics and drugs, as well as imaging devices, enable clinicians in Wales to undertake a wider range of procedures and treatments which benefit a broader range of patients within the population.
