§ Dr. MawhinneyThere are no category A prisoners in Northern Ireland, where prisoners are classified as top, high, medium or low risk. High risk is broadly equivalent to the category A classification in England and Wales. The number of high-risk prisoners on 1 November is not available, but on 22 November there were 323 such prisoners.
