§ Mr. DorrellExecutive letter, EL(91)103, "Priorities and planning guidance for the NHS for 1992/93" issued by the NHS management executive in July 1991, a copy of which is available in the Library, included guidance on NHS priorities. This specified that stillbirths and infant deaths are to be tackled as a priority by the NHS in 1992–93. This applies to Staffordshire as to all other health authorities.
