§ Mr. Alan HowarthOfficials from this Department have made in total 14 visits to EC member states, of which 10 were visits to Brussels, and spent 23 nights away from the United Kingdom during the period from 1 November 1991 to the present time.

§ Mr. Alan HowarthMy right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State has made one visit to Brussels in the past month, on official business related to the European Community. He spent one night away from the United Kingdom on this occasion. None of his ministerial colleagues have made any visits relating to European Community business in the past month.
