§ Mr. LilleyThe Industry Council meeting on 18 November adopted a resolution concerning electronics, information and communication technologies, and agreed to extend the steel aids code for five years. The Council considered Commission communications on biotechnology, textiles and maritime industries, and the Commission's 20th annual report on competition policy; and it discussed the financial arrangements for the European Coal and Steel Community, the position of the automobile industry, and industrial co-operation with eastern Europe.
